Closure of the RD16
From 14 September to 6 December 2026 (provisional dates), the RD16, which connects Annecy to the Aravis via Dingy-Saint-Clair, will be completely closed to traffic, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, due to roadworks.
Don’t worry, Forgeassoud remains accessible
This closure does not prevent access to the holiday village. You will simply need to take an alternative route and allow a little extra travel time.
Recommended routes
Are you arriving from Annecy (motorway exit 16 or 17)?
We recommend reaching Saint-Jean-de-Sixt via the RD909A through Veyrier-du-Lac.
