Full-day hikes with picnic lunch
- Le Chalet du Curé – From La Giettaz – 1,645 m
Climb through beautiful alpine landscapes, between mountain pastures, traditional chalets and snow-covered forests, reaching a stunning viewpoint overlooking Mont Blanc.
Elevation gain: 600 m – Walking time: 5h30 - Pointe d’Orsière – From Manigod – 1,750 m
Follow a route towards a preserved Aravis summit, immersing yourself in a wild environment between the Sulens and Charvin mountains.
Elevation gain: 700 m – Walking time: 5h30 - Roc des Tours – From Le Chinaillon – 1,990 m
Enjoy a beautiful snowshoe hike through a winter landscape shaped by limestone formations, on one of the iconic peaks of the Bargy mountain range.
Elevation gain: 700 m – Walking time: 5h30 - The Aravis Balcony Trail – From La Loyère – 1,750 m
A scenic crossing through a preserved area facing the Aravis mountain range, offering magnificent panoramic views over the surrounding mountains.
Elevation gain: 500 m – Walking time: 5h
Half-day hike
- Les Frêtes de Beauregard – From La Croix Fry – 1,740 m
Discover a magnificent panoramic plateau in the heart of the Aravis, known as one of the best snow areas in the mountains. Enjoy a snowshoe hike offering stunning views over the surrounding peaks.
Elevation gain: 300 m – Walking time: 3h
Practical information
- Type of holiday: circular hiking programme based at one accommodation
- Level required: designed for sporty participants or experienced hikers with an excellent level of fitness
- Group size: 6 to 8 participants
- Minimum number of participants: 6 participants
- AEC Vacances reserves the right to cancel the holiday 21 days before departure if the minimum number of participants is not reached. Participants may then postpone their stay or cancel free of charge.
- The programme is provided as a guide only and may be adapted depending on weather conditions or local circumstances.

- Waterproof hiking shoes
- Comfortable and suitable winter clothing
- Backpack (minimum 30 L) with waterproof/windproof jacket, hat, gloves, sunglasses, sun cream and possibly gaiters
- Water bottle or flask (minimum 1 L)
